Getting Ready for Ecuador

After 5 months of planning and fundraising, we have exceeded our goal of $1000. With these contributions, we have been able to buy 3 advanced microscopes and 5 android tablets for the school. We have also bought the entire preschool art and school supplies; this includes a pencil pouch containing pencils, pens, highlighter, erasers, markers, and colored pencils for each student. We worked with our school's Beta club to pack all of the pencil pouches and organize the remaining supplies. During this time, we planned out our curriculum for the week, ready to take on the task of teaching STEAM skills to middle and high school students. The only barrier we know we will face is language. Knowing this, we meticulously wrote a Spanish script for every day of the week. We hope we're ready to take on the community of Lumbisi, Ecuador!
